I have 49 more days until
I graduate from nursing school. yay!
It's gone fast in a lot of ways: making new friends in class, learning so much about diseases and procedures and medications, making friends with patients and nurses at the hospital, practicing listening to heart and lung sounds with my stethoscope on Bob and Stella, and hanging out with Brent in 'our house' while playing Super Mario.
In some ways it has also felt slow: seeing something at the hospital that instantly takes me back to some of the memories of Tess, like the sad ones of her having a procedure, and the nights when I have a serious internal battle because I just want to drive to Cleveland 'right now' to be with Bob, but I have school the next day.
I never would be able to finish without Bob's support, my mom and family's help with Stella, and all the friends who have been supporting me along the way. It has been hard (transferring through four different schools, having a baby during my OB clinical rotation, living four hours from Bob) but in the end I know it will be so worth it. I am so close now to graduating and feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity I have been given to learn how to be a nurse!
